1. Test Purpose: In our work contact, many people think that the leveling agent plus more leveling just fine, plus more gloss agent luster, or think more plus less than less effective. The end result, we tested it.

The test results are as follows

The results show:

1. The amount of the brightener increased from 0.5% to 1%, 2%, 3%, of which the level of fluidity, gel time does not vary with the amount of brightener,

2. In the range of 0.5-1%, the gloss does not change with the amount of change, continue to increase the amount of gloss enhancer but lower, but not small decline.

3. Appearance, the four samples were flat and bright plump, Luminosity 0.5% increase in the plate surface without pitting pinhole phenomenon, the level of slightly less than 1% slightly less obvious, indicating the amount of luminous agent can be as low as 0.5% , Plus 1%, 2%, 3% appearance is the same level. Explain more plus there is no positive effect, reflected in the gloss value but lower.

The results show:

1. Compared with the first experiment, this group of epoxy polyester with a short gelation time of 1 minute 10 seconds, the corresponding level of mobility of less than 1.5mm, the appearance of a slight orange peel, that is, after a short gelation appearance is not as good A flat and smooth set.

2. This group of epoxy polyester with a low dosage of luster higher than the first group, the same change in gloss and the first group, with the increased dosage decreases.

3. Appearance, the second set of gloss in the gloss meter measured values higher, but the naked eye is not as good as the first group of smooth light.

4. 0.5% increase in the appearance of no pitting pinhole pinhole phenomenon, 0.5% plus 1% plus the amount of the difference is not obvious appearance, indicating the amount of addition of optical agents can be as low as 0.5%, the amount of 0.5-1% within the range Is better, more helpless.

The results show:

1. When the leveling agent is added in excess, the appearance of the flow changes but the deterioration of the orange peel, not bright, foggy. The reason is the leveling agent is adsorbed on silica, which contains 35% of silica (including the imported PV88). The leveling agent dosage is equivalent to the added silica in the formula, affecting the leveling and gloss. Therefore, leveling agent can not be added in excess.

2. Leveling agent added at 0.5% appearance no pits pinhole phenomenon, the flow level slightly worse than the 1% plus a little but still good, indicating that leveling agent dosage can be as low as 0.5%, 0.5- 1% range is more reasonable.

3. Horizontal mobility and gelation time from leveling agent dosage, does not change with the leveling agent dosage changes.

in conclusion:

1. More useless brightener, leveling agent plus more harmful, luster are increased with decreasing dosage.

2. Increasing agent, leveling agent dosage can be as low as 0.5% in the range of 0.5-1% are more reasonable, about 1% increase may be more insurance.

3. Epoxy polyester with different manufacturers up with the gel time is not the same, and the gelling time on the level of a greater impact, the effect of the leveling agent is also affected.
